The question is, when magix will realise that linux is the only good OS possible. We never had so much power inside, but never had so much bugs, never been so slow. The problem is more about computers generally. Im experiencing heavy difficulties on music studio 2020 and X5, but i know it comes from windows 8 wich is a totally crap system, worst than win95. The more time passed, the worst it is here too. Do you trust windows enough to put the responsabilities on samplitude only? Always been very stable. The new pro and efficient are way better than before, allowing huuuuuge stretch without those metallic artifacts.Ībout bugs, hum. The only things that really evolves those last years are timestretch algo. There' no real improvement from a version to another. It says a lot about how it was in advance!!! Daws are now featuring stuffs that have always been in samplitude.Īnyway, i do consider releases every year is a joke and a trap. Honnestly the software never changed so much. My first was audio studio 7, released in 1999 i think, was the light one, the equivalent to samplitude music studio today. I've been using it since more than 20 years. they seem to just release new versions to get people to upgrade but i doubt thats working out for them. am not even sure if we are talking about the same daw because its clear they rashed to release it when its clearly not fit for public. Greetz!I tested it and its full of bugs, the skins do not save colours, they lack some features other themes have, docking the track editor in some places makes the whole daw go mad and flicker, highlighting does not reflect depending on te skin. I'm not affiliated with magix whatsoever. I always disliked all the distortion plugins, although I was after some fuzz all the time. It seems to run very stable from the get-go. Upgraded to Pro x 6 suite a few days ago and just wanted to give it a recommendation.
